Intense winds and thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon knocked out the power for 60,000 PECO residents in Bucks County.

Langhorne got its lights back on at around 9 p.m. But about 25,000 customers in Bucks still do not have power as of 10:30 a.m.

PECO has informed residents some outages will extend into the weekend. Customers can call 1-800-841-4141 to inform the company about an outage. A map is available here.

And wind damage affected more than just power lines Wednesday. Trees fell in yards, streets, and even onto homes.

Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolito released an assessment of some of the more brutal damage in the area.

In one instance, the “roof over 4 suites of an industrial building was lifted up and collapsed in to the building.”

Additionally, a falling tree cleaved into the second story of a house in the Indian Creek section of Levittown.

Fortunately, no one was injured in either incident.
