Bucks County has 110 COVID-19 cases thanks to 25 new presumptive positives Wednesday.
There are also six people in the hospital with four in critical condition. Most of the patients in critical condition are elderly with underlying health issues. The only exception is a person with a history of respiratory issues.
Several of the new cases are in Upper Bucks, where places like Bedminster are seeing their first cases.
Director of Health Dr. David Damsker says these new positives contracted the virus before strict social distancing measures went into effect.
“We are still waiting for the effects of social distancing to be seen,” said Damsker.
There are still no deaths due to coronavirus in Bucks.
Statewide, there have been 15 deaths. Pennsylvania has 1,127 official cases as of noon Wednesday due to 276 new cases.
