Beer enthusiasts throughout Lower Bucks and beyond can plan for the 12th annual Yardley Beer Fest coming May 11. Tickets are currently on sale with a discount for early buyers.

Mayor Chris Harding confirmed the popular tradition’s return during his bi-monthly talk show on WBCB 1490.

“They set it up in a field called Fitzgerald Field with a big circus tent they bring in,” Harding explained. “You pay one price to come in and with admission you get a mini-mug. You take this cup and you get to walk around to any of the vendors and they just fill it up.”

This year’s beer fest will feature 55 of the country’s best breweries, plus a “Homebrewers” corner. Masters in the art of beer brewing will teach attendees how to make a fine ale for personal use.

Early ticket buyers get a $5 discount off the $50 cover price. Admission is open to anyone of legal drinking age, but absolutely no children are allowed.

Fitzgerald Field is located on 13 South Delaware Avenue, on the Delaware River. People gearing up for the event can purchase their tickets early on the Yardley Beer Fest website here.

Yardley residents and beyond can tune into Yardley On Air the first and third Tuesdays of every month. Tune into WBCB 1490 AM at 2 p.m. or catch the show online at wbcb1490.com.
