The Bristol Township Police have arrested a Bensalem man for allegedly breaking into a home in the Venice Ashby section of Levittown early Saturday morning during a meth-fueled rampage and raping an unconscious woman.
A woman from Bristol Township is the prime victim of just one of several reported crimes early Saturday morning. She was initially taken to Lower Bucks Hospital with injuries to her face, before a police officer interviewed her and she reported the attack.
Court documents reveal prosecutors have charged Anthony Thomas Clayborn, 29, with multiple felonies and misdemeanors. Most egregiously, he is accused of counts of rape of an unconscious victim, sexual assault, and burglary.
Clayborn admitted to police he was using crystal meth prior to the break-in, but denied the sexual crimes, according to police. He also matched the description of a man involved in other bizarre incidents the same morning.
There is a preliminary trail set for April 29. Until then, Clayborn is being held on 10% of $250,000 bail.
