Morrisville’s “biggest event of the year,” Winterfest, is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 2.

The festivities kick off around 10 a.m. with the annual Winterfest Parade on Post Road and South Pennsylvania Avenue. The parade will travel through down and finish at Morrisville High School.

This year, the Morrisville School District is partnering with the MSD 21st Century Community Learning Centers to host an Open House.

Children can participate in various crafts while parents can Christmas shop with a variety of vendors.

Morrisville High School students will have their Winter Carnival in the gym on Dec. 2 as well where several games will be set up.

Mr. and Mrs. Claus will make a special appearance from 12:20 to 2 p.m. A holiday performance will follow in the auditorium.

Any organization, vendor or crafter is invited to bring their goodies. For more information, you can contact Elizabeth Sullivan at 215-428-0500 ext. 106.

The MSD 21st CCLC is funded in part by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
