The Lower Makefield Township Police are investigating a string of vehicle thefts after unidentified suspects hit three victims in a single job. These thefts occurred the same weekend as several other similar incidents.

Residents at three separate homes on the 1300 block of Brentwood Drive called police the morning of Sunday, Sept. 29. Each call was made between 7:54 and 9:08 a.m.

The suspects’ reported earnings include at least $40 in cash and a wristlet with credit cards.

These calls came just one day after one resident on Manor Lane called police around 10:00 a.m. on Sept. 28. They reported a single man on surveillance trying to enter their vehicle.

This incident may or may not be connected to additional thefts on Manor Lane. Two other residents on the street reported thieves breaking into their vehicles on Sept. 27.

Additionally, two residents on Slate Hill Road reported stolen items from their vehicles on Sept. 27. One lost an iPad Pro.

With such a high number of vehicle thefts in a single weekend, Lower Makefield Township residents should always remember to lock their doors. The investigation is ongoing
