Smoke plumed into the sky Saturday evening after a car was allegedly set aflame in Bristol Township.
After receiving several 911 calls about an immolated car, the Third District Fire Co quickly dispatched to the scene on Venice Avenue. When they arrived shortly before 11:30 p.m., the passenger side of the vehicle was burning intensely.
Fire Marshall Kevin Dippolito investigated the seemingly bizarre incident and determined it was arson. Interestingly, the vehicle had a Florida license plate.
Bristol Township has seen several potential incidents of arson in the past few months. In mid-May, an arsonist allegedly started a fire in the abandoned Abraham Lincoln Elementary School.
Anyone with info should immediately reach out to Dippolito at 267-812-2907 or the Bristol Township Police Department.
