Two Victims With Critical Injuries In New Falls Road Crash

Two victims from the local area suffered critical injuries in a traffic accident on New Falls Road Friday morning. The road remained closed for about three hours while first responders tended to the situation.

Lt. Ralph Johnson with the Bristol Township Police Department says personnel responded to the scene near the Indian Creek Entry shortly before 6 a.m. They found two men in need of medical attention.

A preliminary investigation shows seventy-nine-year-old male driving a 2014 Jeep Compass was turning onto New Falls Road from the Indian Creek Entry. Then, a 2006 Nissan Altima traveling eastbound on New Falls Road collided with the Jeep.

Police reopened the roadway at 9 a.m.

As of 11:11 a.m., police say the older man, from Levittown, is receiving medical attention at Lower Bucks Hospital. Meanwhile, the younger man, from Bristol, is undergoing treatment at St. Mary Medical Center.

Levittown Fire Company #2 and the Bristol Township Fire Police assisted at the scene.
