A K-9 unit assisted detectives to find more than 700 grams of alleged heroin after a traffic stop on Route 1 in Falls Township. The motorist now faces charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of a controlled substance.

Officers investigating fentanyl trafficking pulled over Adelso Delarosa-Ramos, 53, near Woolston Dr. The trained K-9 sniffed Delarosa’s Subaru and indicated the presence of drugs. Police reported finding half a kilogram in his vehicle.

Upon following up on the investigation, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office says detectives found more than 700 grams. This amount is reportedly equivalent to 22,000 bags labeled for sale.

Delarosa, a resident of Elizabeth, NJ, is currently sitting in Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $250,000.
