A concert series presented by Bucks County Community college will have Five performances from Nov. 15 to Dec. 16 include Jazz Orchestra, Concert Choir, and several small-group performances.
The series is designed to showcase student talent, and there are several groups of students lined up to play in front of the crowd. There will be Four free-admission concerts taking place on the campus at 274 Swamp Rd., Newtown, Pa. with the first concert being tomorrow, Thursday, November 15th.
The first performance will feature a combination of a Performance Class Recital and the Classical Chamber Ensembles.The concert takes place in the Presser Music Room, located in the Music & Multimedia Center.
The second event, will be at the same location at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, with the Concert Choir and Percussion Ensemble slated to be on stage. After that, the Bucks County Community College Jazz Orchestra will be, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, in the Kevin and Sima Zlock Performing Arts Center, located in the Gateway Center building on the Newtown Campus.
The fourth show will feature The Chamber Jazz Ensembles, which will be 12:30 p.m. Thursday, December 6, in the Presser Music Room.
Finally, the college’s Madrigal Singers, will join the Trinity Church Friends of Music Concert at 4 p.m. Sunday, December 16, at Trinity Episcopal Church, located at 6587 Upper York Rd., Solebury, Pa. This final concert, is a ticketed event in collaboration with the Friends of Music at Trinity Episcopal Church.
