State Rep. Wendi Thomas is hosting her first Senior Expo for residents Thursday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Spring Mill Manor.
Representatives from local and state agencies, as well as senior-focused organizations will have tables at the event. They will offer a wide range of information on services and issues relevant to seniors in the local area.
“This will be a wonderful event to help seniors become knowledgeable about the services and programs that will help them lead more active and productive lives,” Thomas said. “I encourage all older residents and their family members to attend.”
As with other senior expos, there will be a mobile medication collection box. People can drop off their unused and unwanted medications.
Thomas was elected to her position this past November. She represents the 178th district, which includes Richboro, Wrightstown, New Hope, and Solebury.
Spring Mill Manor is located at 171 Jacksonville Road in Ivyland. Anyone looking for more information can call Thomas’ office at 215-364-3414.
