State Rep. Thomas Opens New Hope Office

State Rep. Wendi Thomas speaks about the Family Care Act in June.

State Rep. Wendi Thomas has opened a new office in New Hope in an attempt to more easily connect with residents in the area.

“We already have a Richboro office, but I thought it important to give the New Hope/Solebury residents easy access to the state office,” Thomas told WBCB. “If they struggle with any issues or have any concerns, they can easily stop by in their normal travels.”

Located at 123 West Bridge St. in New Hope, the new office sits right down the street from New Hope High School. Its phone number is 215-862-1940 and will be open Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Thomas also plans to hold an Open House event at the office on Friday, Aug. 2 from 4 to 7 p.m. This puts it just a couple hours before the final New Hope fireworks display of the year at 9:30 p.m.

“So come to my office, and stay for the New Hope fireworks,” Thomas said. “This is a great way to keep the lines of communications open. I want to learn more about the concerns of those I represent so I can share that input with my colleagues in Harrisburg. This is also a great opportunity to learn what’s happening in the capitol.”
