Pennsbury High School East will be hosting a College Financial Planning Seminar this Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 7 to 9 p.m. Students and parents from any school district are invited to attend.
Representatives from Pennsylvania Student Financial Aid (PHEAA), the Pennsylvania Treasury Department, and the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling will be on hand. They will help inform attendees about available financial options like student loans, grants, and savings plans.
State Sen. Steve Santarsiero and State Rep. John Galloway will also attend to speak with families.
“As students begin the process of applying for college, the importance of strong financial planning cannot be overstated,” Sen. Santarsiero said. “This seminar is about providing students and parents with information and resources as they navigate an often overwhelming process and help them find the best path that works for their family.”
