Anyone planning to attend the Eagles game at the Linc this Sunday, Sept. 8, can expect free rides home on the Broad Street Line from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. SEPTA announced the free rides early Friday morning.
This program comes thanks to a collaboration with Independence Blue Cross.
“Independence Blue Cross knows how passionate Philadelphians are about their Eagles, and we share that excitement for our home team,” said Daniel J. Hilferty, Independence Blue Cross CEO. “We are pleased to join with SEPTA to provide free, safe and convenient rides home from four home games this year.”
And there’s more good news for those planning to use the train, as SEPTA will add 10 Sports Express lines beginning at 10:10 a.m. to meet greater demand on game day.
Trips to Lincoln Financial Field will still be full price. Travelers are encouraged to add funds to their SEPTA Key cards ahead of time.
