The Bristol Borough Police arrested a man over the weekend for attempting to rob another resident, but instead only came away with a plank to the face.
Daniel Trappasse, 30, allegedly drew a knife on his male victim, 49, in the Harriman Section at about 9 a.m. Saturday and demanded money. Unfortunately for Trappasse, his victim was not cooperative and decided to fight back.
The unidentified victim from Bristol grabbed a 2×4 plank of wood and stuck Trappasse with it, who immediately fled. However, police caught him later on Bath Street.
Trappasse is being held in Bucks County Prison on charges of robbery threatens serious bodily injury, possessing instruments of crime, and prohibited offensive weapon.
