The Bristol Borough Police are thanking the public for helping to identify an alleged thief who stole more than $1,000 from a library patron.

Police asked for help earlier this week to identify a suspect allegedly leaving Grundy Library with someone else’s car keys, then stealing from the vehicle. Now, authorities say the suspect is Danielle Nicole Tusiano, 27.

The thief took a crystal cross, a Dunkin’ Donuts gift card, and house keys valued at $1,195, according to authorities.

A press release indicated police identified Tusiano “based on information supplied by the public.”

“The Bristol Borough Police would like to thank the public for their support and cooperation with this investigation.”

However, the investigation is not done. Officer Mike Levitsky is asking anyone who knows Tusiano’s whereabouts to contact him at 215-788-7813 ext. 2443 or mlivitsky@bristolboro.com.
