A local rapper famous for a song entitled “Ganged Up” got locked up this past weekend. Philly rapper Rakim Allen, rap name PNB Rock, was arrested in Bensalem Sunday after a 3 month long investigation into a noise complaint.
Police received several calls about the residence at 104B Konefal Street. The complainants lamented loud noise from parties and the smell of marijuana.
The Bensalem Special Investigations Unit took on the case. Investigators obtained a warrant on probable cause that Allen was selling drugs.
In the search, police found 4 pounds of marijuana, scales, packaging material over $33,000 in cash and a stolen 40 caliber Glock handgun.
“For everybody who ever said ‘PNB IS UNDERRATED’ or ‘PNB DONT GET ENUFF RECOGNITION’… THIS OUR YEAR I PROMISE WATCH WHEN TSTPS DROP,” Allen said in a misspelled tweet two days before his arrest.
Police also arrested Stephanie Sibounheuang who was in the house at the time of the search. She was charged with Possession of Narcotics, Receiving Stolen Property, and Criminal Conspiracy.
Prosecutors charged Allen with Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Narcotics, Receiving Stolen Property, Criminal Conspiracy and other related offenses.
