The Newtown Township and Newtown Borough Police Departments each put out the word recently for the public’s help to identify suspects from separate incidents. Anyone who recognizes either individual should submit a tip on Crimewatch or contact police.

Newtown Township

A resident called Newtown Township Police on Wednesday, May 15 to report an overnight theft. The victim informed police they left the credit cards in their vehicle, and someone had used them to make purchases in the Philadelphia region.

An investigation revealed one Home Depot had caught the suspect on tape. The female, seen right, allegedly bought prepaid gift cards and other treats for herself.

Newtown Borough

The Newtown Borough Police posted a press release Monday morning asking for the public to help identify an alcohol thief. An employee from the Wine and Spirits Store on South State Street told detectives a man stole several bottles from the store on Mar. 26.

Police say the suspect, seen right, used a Boscov’s shopping bag to conceal his thefts.

Authorities ask anyone who recognizes either suspect to contact police immediately. Both photos obtained via Crimewatch.
