The Bensalem Police are asking for the public’s help as they try to identify an assailant who stuck his victim before hitching a ride and leaving the scene.

Officials say the suspect attacked at the Neshaminy Mall Bus Stop on Dec. 30 at about 4 p.m. before hopping on the route 14 SEPTA bus. Video surveillance shows a thin, black male wearing a gray sweat outfit, black sneakers, and a red back pack.

The route 14 bus makes stops at:

  • Frankford Transportation Center,
  • Byberry East Industrial Park,
  • Pine St. and Maple Ave in Langhorne,
  • Oxford Valley Mall,
  • and several other stops on Roosevelt Boulevard.

The motive remains unclear as officials have not released information on the victim or their relationship with the attacker. Anyone with information should immediately contact the Bensalem PD at 215 633-3719.
