Motorcyclist Killed In N. Oxford Valley Road Crash

Update 9:05 p.m.: Falls Township Police confirmed the crash occurred at 2:37 p.m. as a 2010 BMW attempted to cross N. Oxford Valley Road and collided with a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle. One man has died after a terrible crash on N. Oxford Valley Road Thursday afternoon, the Falls Township Police Department has confirmed.

Motorcycle parts were scattered near the intersection with Devon Road as of 5:30 p.m. Eight to twelve emergency response vehicles were still at the scene.

People familiar with the situation confirmed an motor vehicle and a motorcycle collided. It is unclear whether the victim was wearing a helmet.

Scattered motorcycle parts could be seen from down the street.

Traffic was still being diverted around the scene as of 6:30 p.m., causing delays in the area. Vehicles headed southeast were directed to Coventry Road and then came out at Trenton Road near the Falls Township Senior Center.

Officers at the scene could not speak to media about the incident. This page will be updated with more information when available.
