A girl who had been missing since Wednesday afternoon has been found safe in Montgomery County, the Middletown Township Police announced Saturday morning.
Christina Giuffre, 21, of Middletown was reported missing after she did not arrive for work August 29. She was believed to have been in danger after being last seen in Croydon driving a black Honda Civic.
Police spoke to Giuffre in person today and updated the public on her situation through Facebook. Another police department in Montgomery county was able to locate her.
“She is fine and unharmed. She was not missing against her will,” the post reads. “Her family has been notified and is with her now. We are closing out this case.”
Police thanked the community for its involvement in spreading the word about Giuffre’s missing status. They also credited the Bucks County Detectives Office and every member of the Middletown Township Police Department for working around the clock to ensure she was found safely.
