A man from New Jersey is facing charges of indecent exposure after allegedly revealing himself to a Bristol Borough woman along Radcliffe Street earlier this month.

The victim told police she was walking her dog past a home on the 1100 block of Radcliffe St. on Jan. 12. To her surprise, she walked by a man in a front lawn with gym shorts and “his penis over top the shorts, masturbating while looking at her,” according to an affidavit of probable cause.

She also told police the man walked back into the home. Four days later, detectives went to the home and interviewed Joseph Dube, 36, of Beverley, NJ.

The affidavit shows Dube knew “someone was exposing himself,” when asked about the situation. He agreed to go with officers back to the Bristol Borough Police Headquarters for questioning.

First, Dube told detectives he was standing outside smoking a cigarette. While he had his hands down his pants, he “did not expose himself.”

However, the affidavit claims Dube changed his tune a few minutes later. He told officers he was applying lotion to his testicles because they were “raw.”

Dube faces charges of Indecent Exposure, Open Lewdness, and Disorder Conduct Obscene Lang/Gest. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for late February.
