Pennsbury High School West is back to business Thursday after a potentially dangerous morning.
Reports from Pennsbury students indicate a student threatened to shoot up the school and beat up security guards. Fortunately, Falls Township Police Administrative Assistant Gina Seiler confirmed no citations were issued and no weapons were involved.
Pennsbury School District Communications Assistant Robin Peters released a statement shortly after 11 a.m.
“PHS West was placed on lockdown for an unusual incident at approximately 10:00 a.m. today, Thursday, March 7th,” the statement reads. “The situation was quickly resolved and the lockdown was lifted at approximately 10:15 a.m. PHS West has resumed normal operations.”
