A stabbing at a Bristol Borough apartment has left one woman in critical condition.
Local police arrived at an apartment complex on Corson Street shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday morning. They found the 41-year-old victim stabbed in the abdomen.
Officer James Ellis then found Dennis Chirskoy, 27, in the street with a knife wound in his hand. Ellis quickly connected the Levittown man to the stabbing.
Chirskoy is charged with aggravated assault and other related crimes. After recovering in Lower Bucks Hospital, he is now in Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Meantime, the most recent information indicates the victim is at the Jefferson Torresdale Trauma Center receiving treatment.
Police are still investigating how the victim and Chriskoy knew each other, and what led up to the stabbing.
The Bristol Borough Police credited the Bucks County Rescue Squad and Bristol Township Police with helping during the incident.
