Langhorne Borough is preparing for its 15th annual Classic Car Show on Maple Avenue this Saturday, Jun. 15, from 3 to 6 p.m. From North Pine to Green Streets, residents can expect a road packed with classic vehicles.
Residents should be aware of road closures and temporary no parking signs on nearby streets. On top of the show grounds, Bellevue Ave will be closed between Richardson and Watson Avenues. These closures begin at 1:30 p.m. and should be lifted by 8 p.m.
In previous years with good weather, upwards of 250 vehicles and their owners have come out for the show, according to LBBA member John Keefe. He credited his fellow Langhorne Borough Business Association members Rich Jones, Bob Frick, and their spouses for organizing the big day.
Keefe confirmed this year’s show will benefit the Jesse Soby American Legion Post’s 100th anniversary.
Attendees should also expect live music from Fifty Bucks Blues Band, who played at last year’s car show as well. The band members have performed together at local venues including Parx Casino.
