PECO is planning lane restrictions in a tricky area from Tuesday, Mar. 26, until Thursday for utility installations. PennDOT announced the work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oxford Valley Road between Bedford Road and Coventry Road in Falls Township.
While the section of road is small, its location may be more important. This operation will be taking place just down the road from the North Oxford Valley/ Bristol Oxford Valley Road intersection.
As people familiar with the area will know, this is a particularly busy intersection during peak hours, even on a good day. With PECO operations less than half a mile away, drivers should be prepared for traffic.
All road work is weather dependent, though current forecasts indicate cooperative skies with almost no chance of rain. Motorists should add appropriate time to their commutes as PennDOT advises backups and delays will occur.
