Lane and ramp closures are coming to Lower Bucks next week and the coming months for various projects.

Scudder Falls Bridge Ramp Closure

The Interstate 295 West ramp from Taylorsville Road (New Hope/Exit 10) and the I-295 West Rest Area in Lower Makefield Township will be closed now until early July for work planned on the Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project.

Motorists are advised to follow the ramp for I-295 South, cross the Scudder Falls Bridge into New Jersey, continue on I-295 South to Scotch Road North (Exit 73A) and use the loop ramps to cross over I-295, and follow I-295 North back to the Scudder Falls Bridge into Pennsylvania where the highway designation changes to I-295 West

Overnight Lane Restrictions

  • U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) between Durham Road and Flowers Mill Road in Middletown Township
  • U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) between Neshaminy Street and Bucks Town Road in Middletown Township and Penndel Borough.

These locations will have lane restrictions between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. beginning June 2nd, until June 28th. PENNDOT will be milling the lanes as a part of a project to resurface 44 miles of state highway in Bucks County.

Traffic Lane Closures in Falls Township

  • Big Oak Road and Trenton Avenue
  • Trenton Avenue and Plaza Boulevard

These intersections will be affected periodically beginning Monday, June 3, through Friday, June 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The work is a part of a project to install a total of 73 ADA compliant ramps at 18 intersections in Bucks County.
