PennDOT is closing lanes for road work throughout Lower Bucks County with projects new and old on the docket.
First, Bristol Pike will have lane closures between Edgely Road and Green Lane only on Monday, Jan. 28. The overhead bridge work and painting will last from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Next, the project to improve the Street Road/Route 1 interchange in Bensalem continues overnight this week with median barrier and curb removal. Left lanes in both directions will be closed Monday through Saturday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- U.S. 1 between Old Lincoln Highway and Rockhill Drive
- Route 132 (Street Road) between Kingston Way and Old Lincoln Highway.
Finally, overnight subbase and guide rail installation will close various lanes again on I-95 and I-295 from 7 p.m. until 5 a.m. throughout Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown, and Lower Makefield.
- Northbound I-95 and eastbound I-295 between the Route 132 (Street Road) and Route 413 (Bristol) interchanges
- Northbound and southbound I-95 between the Academy Road and Pennsylvania Turnpike interchanges for guide rail installation
