K.C. Tomlinson, GOP candidate for District 18.

Tomlinson is the 3rd generation Funeral Director the Tomlinson Funeral Home on Bristol Pike. She completed her education to become a Licensed Funeral Director in 2016.

K.C. Tomlinson will run as a Republican in a special election this spring for Pennsylvania’s 18th legislative district. The special election day is March 17, 2020.

While this is her first time running for political office, Tomlinson has been engaged in local politics for some time. She most recently campaigned for her father State Sen. Tommy Tomlinson in 2018, in which he beat Democratic opponent Tina Davis.

DiGirolamo vacated his seat to join the Board of Bucks County Commissioners earlier this week. He served District 18 for 25 years after winning his first election for the seat in 1994.

In the 2019 election, DiGirolamo ran for county commissioner and garnered 25.1% of the vote. He earned the second-most number of votes, behind Diane Ellis-Marseglia, but more than Bob Harvie and Rob Loughery.
