One person was taken to the hospital after a crash involving two vehicles in Bristol Township Sunday afternoon.

First responders dispatched to the scene at the intersection of Queen Anne Drive and Wistar Road at 12:49 p.m. Members of Levittown Fire Co. 2, the Fairless Hills Fire Department, and William Penn Fire Company arrived ready to extract one victim stuck in their vehicle.

Photos from the scene show first responders working together with the “jaws of life” to help free the trapped driver. After only 15 minutes with the hydraulic tool, they successfully completed the rescue.

The Levittown-Fairless Hills Rescue Squad then transported the victim to the hospital.
