A bomb threat has not stopped classes at Harry S Truman High School in Bristol Township. Police have deemed the threat “non-credible,” though a sense of anxiety remains with parents and teachers.

Principal Lyndell Davis informed parents and students about the potential threat at 6:30 this morning.

Superintendent Dr. Melanie Gehrens released a statement later Wednesday morning.

“Following the receipt of a threat by phone, police were immediately contacted to assess the situation. They determined the threat to be nonspecific and non-credible.”

Several police officers stayed at the school as a precaution through the morning.
