Levittown residents will be able to take advantage of free flu shots on Sept. 14 at the Bucks County Department of Health. This is one of three clinics available throughout the county.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., anyone ages 3 and older can walk in and get a shot with no questions asked. The Dept. of Health is located at 7321 New Falls Road.

Flu monitoring began in the fortieth week of the 2018-2019 flu season, according to the PA Department of Health. This aligns with the beginning of October.

In the most recent season, there were more than 150 influenza-related deaths in Pennsylvania. A majority, at 107, were senior citizens.
