Super Bowl LII had Eagles fans relying on their team to defy the odds and take down the New England Patriots, including Bucks County Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick.

Before the big game, Fitzpatrick challenged Rhode Island Congressman David Cicilline to a friendly wager over Twitter. The bet decided that whichever team lost the Super Bowl the loser had to pose for a social media photo while wearing the winning team’s jersey.

Fitzpatrick’s player of choice for Cicilline was Quarterback Carson Wentz.

The 8th District’s Congressman was right when he said, “I’m confident that come Sunday night we’ll see Philly finally raising the Lombardi Trophy. I hope Rep. Cicilline likes midnight green.”

Fitzpatrick tweeted the picture early Thursday just as the Birds took the trophy for a tour of Philadelphia.
