For more than 30 years, the Bristol Riverside Theatre has been writing, producing, directing, acting, and designing an eclectic list of shows, ranging from musicals to plays to community driven performances.

The Bristol Riverside Theatre is a non-profit regional equity theatre, situated right on the Delaware River. They are 1 of 2 regional equity theatres in Bucks County, which also includes the Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope.

“It’s quality performances right in your backyard,” said Greg Hartley, Marketing Director for the Bristol Riverside Theatre. Now in their 33rd season, the theatre continues to employ the very communities they serve.

Each production features local actors, writers, directors, designers, and so on. As an equity
theatre, they also employ national artists from different theatres.

Riverside also works to bring in local high schoolers interested in theatre to see shows,
volunteer, and assist in the creative process.

The Bristol Riverside Theatre is currently in their last leg of ‘An Act of God,’ starring Kim
Wayans from “In Living Color.” The last show is Oct. 13, and started running Sept. 17. Their next show will be Next to Normal, a 3 time Tony award winning rock musical. The show will be running from Oct. 29 to Nov. 24, and will star Donna Vivino, the star of Broadway’s Wicked and Les Miserables.
