Bristol Township will be hosting disaster preparedness training for its residents beginning later this month and the final registration date is April 15.

There are four classes amounting to 12 hours total. Lessons include what the township does in the event of an emergency and what residents should do on their own.

Attendees will get an in-depth look into what supplies they should have in their disaster kits. People should have one bag for their home and another for their vehicle.

Additionally, instructors will teach residents what the township has planned for storms and natural disasters. Moreover, people will learn the hazards and vulnerabilities Bristol Township may face so they can better prepare.

Anyone looking to join or for further information should contact Emergency Management Coordinator Kevin Dippolito. He is available at kdippolito@bristoltownship.org or 267-812-2907.
