Two more people in Bucks County died of COVID-19 Sunday. This brings the total deaths in Bucks to three.

Both people who passed away Sunday were elderly patients with chronic health conditions. They died while being treated in intensive care units.

One of the victims was a woman in her 90s, according to health officials. She had “severe and longstanding pulmonary issues.” The other was a man in his 80s who had chronic health conditions of his own.

The first man to pass away due to coronavirus in Bucks died Saturday after just one day in the ICU. He was in his 60s and had underlying health conditions.

There are now eighteen people in the hospital with COVID-19 in Bucks County, with seven in the ICU.

Bucks has 249 cases as of Sunday night. The highest concentrations of cases are in Middletown, Lower Makefield, and Northampton. Each municipality has between 21 and 50 cases, according to county data.
