Bucks County Community College employees banned together for one cause this holiday season.

The Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC) received $6,500 worth of food and monetary donations. The organization’s mission is to reduce poverty and partner with the community.

The BCOC was founded in 1965 and has donated to more than 60 food pantries and distribution site throughout Bucks County.

Recently, representatives from the BCOC visited Bucks’ Newtown Township campus to collect the donations.
