The Lower Makefield Township Police are attempting to identify a suspect who broke into one of the businesses in the Floral Vale Business Park on Dec. 5.

In the heist, the man stole a backpack with several items including a Macbook Air and credit card. He then used it to spend more than $4000 in separate shopping sprees.

Located on the 900 Block of Floral Vale Blvd. Yardley, the area is home to several businesses. The thief is captured on surveillance footage entering one of the office buildings at around 11 a.m. and then leaving with the stolen backpack.

The backpack contained the Macbook ($800), a pair of glasses ($100), and several electronic chargers ($50), according to police. The suspect then used a credit card also in the bag the same day.

Police say the credit card was used to purcahse $1,852.88 worth of goods from the Tullytown Walmart, then another $2,813.99 from the Best Buy in Oxford Valley Mall.

Authorities believe the thief drives a white or silver Kia Rio Sedan. Anyone who thinks they know the suspect should contact Detective Rich Meehl at 267-274-1163 or email at richm@lmt.org
