The newly elected Bucks County Commissioners team has begun the transition process after November’s election. Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia and Commissioner-elect Bob Harvie have announced a Lower Makefield attorney will lead the transition team.

Tom Jennings with FisherBroyles LLP has practiced law for four decades. He will help the newly elected Democrats make the change as the party takes control in Bucks for the first time since 1988.

“I am pleased to lead this historic effort and thank Diane and Bob for their support,” Jennings said.

As leader of the transition team, Jennings will report to the commissioners on their examination of the functions of county government.

Michael Clarke, managing partner of Rudolph Clarke LLC and Falls Township solicitor, will also join the team, along with Kyong Ha Growney, partner of Curtin & Heefner LLP, and tax attorney Gregory C. McCarthy.

The formal swearing in ceremony for the new commissioners, including State Rep. Gene DiGirolamo, will begin Jan. 6.
