The Falls and Bristol Township Police Departments have announced their next Coffee with a Cop events.

Bristol Township residents are invited to the McDonald’s at 3120 on Rt. 413. Officers will be enjoying a cup of Joe on Thursday, Mar. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Meanwhile, Falls Township will be hosting their event next Friday morning.

Falls Township Police Chief William Wilcox speaks at the Board of Supervisors meeting on Mar. 19, 2019.

“Our Coffee with a Cop will be the end of the month,” Falls Police Chief William Wilcox said at the Board of Supervisors meeting Tuesday night. “March 29 at the [Falls Township] Senior Center at 9:30 a.m.”

Coffee with a Cop gives people a chance to have a casual conversation with their police officers and enjoy a hot drink. While National Coffee with a Cop Day is Oct. 3, having additional days helps to build connections with people.

“It’s a great way to strengthen police-community partnerships and build friendships throughout the community,” the Bristol Township PD posted on Crimewatch. “‘Coffee With A Cop’ is just another way to allow residents to make Bristol Township a better place to live.”
