Thanksgiving has come and gone, which means Bristol Borough is looking to get into the holiday spirit. The annual Christmas Tree Lighting is Friday, Nov. 29 night at 6, with a parade set for Saturday.

Raising the Bar President Bill Pezza says people come from far and wide.

“No offense to your other listeners, but we think we have the best tree lighting in Bucks County,” Pezza told WBCB.

Then Saturday, Nov. 30 is the Bristol Borough Christmas Parade. Beginning at 1 p.m., turn out to Pond and Mill Streets for a view of the festivities. To top it off, Santa and Mrs. Claus will show up in a horse drawn carriage.

Everyone is welcome to bring a blanket or lawn chair and find their spot to watch. A rain date is set for Sunday, Dec. 1, though forecasts are predicting sunshine with highs in the upper 40s.
