A Bensalem staple is returning to the stage, as Penn Community Bank has announced its summer concert lineup early. Twelve tribute bands will be performing at the Penn Community Bank Amphitheater and the season pass is available now.

People turn out in droves to the Penn Community Bank Amphitheater.

A different tribute band will play every Wednesday starting Jun. 5 until Aug. 28. The only exception is Jul. 3 for the Independence Day holiday. Season passes cost $35 for residents and they typically sell out by opening day.

Community Affairs Manager Amanda McDonald gets excited for the summer performances each time they roll around.

“Feedback about the concert season every year is very positive,” McDonald said. “At Penn Community Bank Amphitheater, we offer the community quality performances from top notch tribute artists at an affordable cost.”

As it is an outdoor venue, McDonald encourages people to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Attendees can bring playmate sized coolers, but no alcohol is permitted. Food trucks will also be available.

Doors open for the public at every show beginning at 6 p.m. and the music begins an hour later. Bensalem residents pay $5 while the price for everyone else is $10, and children 12 and under get in free.
