Bucks County Community College is one of more than a dozen academic institutions in Pennsylvania to sign a Transfer Agreement with Southern New Hampshire University.
This new deal allows students to transfer 90 credits to SNHU and then finish their Bachelor’s Degree online with a 10% tuition reduction.
Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges Board Chairman John Sygielski hopes the partnership will make post-secondary education more accessible.
“Community colleges work hard to provide students with quality education at an affordable price, which is why we’re so pleased to announce our partnership with Southern New Hampshire University,” Sygielski explained.
All 14 of Pennsylvania’s community colleges have signed up for the agreement. The presidents of each school expressed they hope it will achieve a larger goal: to have 60 percent of Pennsylvanians aged 25-64 with a postsecondary degree or industry-recognized credential by 2025.
