Bucks County Community College is enticing prospective students with an open house at its Newtown campus on Mar. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Held in the Linksz Pavillion, visitors will have a chance to speak with representatives from several academic departments. Student ambassadors will take interested visitors on tours throughout campus and financial aid officials will also be present to help answer related questions.

Director of Admissions Marlene Barlow wants people to know BCCC is a solid choice for people trying to progress in life or simply become a more well-rounded individual.

“People may be surprised to learn that we’re a competitive choice among college options,” said Barlow. “We continue to strive for improvements both physically and academically, from adding a new science building to introducing new programs to match career opportunities.”

BCCC recently opened a new culinary arts lab and regularly hosts musical events on campus.

Popular choices for students after graduating include attending four year colleges or universities, or entering the workforce directly.

Attendees can register ahead of time on the BCCC website here.
