A man who robbed the 7-Eleven on Lincoln Highway in Middletown at gun point Saturday night is still at large, according to local police.

Authorities say the culprit entered the convenience store around 9:50 p.m. on Apr. 27 with a black or dark grey colored handgun. Video surveillance and employee testimony indicate he pointed the weapon at an employee.

While the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, reports say no one was injured. This is especially fortunate as there were customers in the store at the time.

Despite forming a K-9 search perimeter, police lost the robber’s scent. They are asking the public for help to identify him.

Though masked, holes in his clothing reveal the thief may be a Caucasian male. He appears to be between 5’10” and 6’0,” according to officials.

Additionally, his unique red hoodie with “AERO” written on the front in large font could help identify the suspect. He also wore blue Nike sneakers.

The Middletown Township Police ask anyone with an inkling of who the suspect may be to report their suspicions. People can contact headquarters at 215-750-3845 or use their anonymous tip line 215-750-3888.
