Hunter poses for the camera in the leaves, and leaves a little tongue out for the shoot.

This week’s Adoptable Pets of the Week is Hunter!

Hunter is a Shepherd & Staffordshire Mix from down South, who his carers estimate is a little more than one year old. Christy Garrison from the EASEL Animal Rescue League says he has energy abound but is not out of control.

“He’d be a great hiking partner for certain, he definitely needs a family who will give him a lot of exercise,” Garrison said. “He listens well and he’s going to be easy to train because he will train for treats.”

Hunter has is an extrovert who loves to make people happy, with big kisses and lots of tail wagging.

“Most dogs are super eager to please and this dog is definitely eager to please,” Garrison explained. “Even if he’s distracted he always looks at you, and that’s always a good thing.”

If you’d like to adopt Hunter, or would like to see some of the other animals, stop by EASEL Animal Rescue League! They are right behind the Ewing Municipal Building at 4 Jake Garzio Drive, Ewing. Adoption hours are every day from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
