$60,000 In Life-Savings Stolen During Robbery, Police Say

A woman’s entire life-savings were stolen from her as three suspects were caught on video ransacking her home on June 30th. The Bensalem Township Police say $60,000 in cash and a game console were taken from the residence on the 700 block of Bridgewater Road.

Video surveillance shows a white male in white hoodie casually approaching the home, then chucking an object at its side shortly before 8 a.m. About 12 minutes later, the suspect returns to the scene with two other men.

Police describe the second and third suspects as tall and thin in all black, but their hoodies are pulled tightly around their faces. While they may be harder to identify, cameras caught an image of the first actor.

None of the robbers were holding a backpack while entering the home, but video shows one of the suspects holding a black backpack as he left. The first suspect walked out holding the game console, a PlayStation 4.

Police believe the suspects may have known the family and had been inside the home previously, according to 6abc.

The Bensalem Township Police are asking the public to look at the footage closely. Anyone with information should contact them at 215-633-3719 or submit a tip.
