Scott Wallace will be the Democratic candidate on the ballot in November. He won the primary election Tuesday with more than 58 percent of the vote.
Wallace referenced his upcoming opponent and the Trump administration.
“We’ve got an incumbent Republican congressman in this district who has never met a corporate special interest he won’t take money from,” Wallace said of Fitzpatrick.
With about 33 percent of the votes, Rachel Reddick called to concede around 11:00 P.M. to concede. The third Democratic candidate was Steve Bacher, who received some 3,500 votes in Bucks County.
“She was very gracious,” Wallace said. “She said she’s 100% behind me and will do whatever it takes to win in November.”
The new nominee is now looking towards November.
